Aims & Objectives<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

It is the aim of Delhi Public School to provide the best possible education to its students. Our primary aim is to develop in the student qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion, to promote a spirit of enquiry, to foster a scientific temper within the bonds of humanism, to help the student to become a meaningful part of his environment and to know that courage and industry have their due reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pursuit of excellence encouraged at DPS rests on the positive belief that every man has it in him to produce work and excel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards this end, the school endeavours to provide a large and dedicated teaching staff with a wide range of skills and interests, a varied and wide choice of activities-academic, aesthetic and athletic, an environment enriched with the excitement of discovery, challenge and competitiveness and discipline based on the belief that responsibility comes before freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPECIAL FEATURES OF DPS MATHURA ROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi Public School is a co-educational day-cum-boarding school and a member of the Indian Public School Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The school provides language programmes including French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, German, Russian and Italian. Close liaison is maintained with the Cultural Departments of the Embassies of the respective countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Computer aided teaching in Science, Social Science and Maths for classes VI-VIII is done in specially created audio-visual lecture rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Delhi Public School provides incentive and motivation to its bright students by awarding Scholar Gowns, Scholar Badges and Gold Medals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The school\u2019s ultramodern cafeteria serves wholesome nutritious mid day meals along with snacks, ice-creams, fruits, etc. on cash payment at fixed rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A well equipped clinic, with doctors and nurses (round the clock), looks after the needs of both the boarders and day scholars. An ambulance with an attendant and driver is stationed at the clinic. Every student undergoes a periodic medical check-up; parents\/guardians are informed if the child needs specific medical attention.An individual medical record is maintained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All school books and other articles of stationery can be purchased from the school bookstore which remains open during school hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
