B.A./B.Sc. with at least 45% marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

For PRTs **

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in
accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 - year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed).

All teachers to be appointed to teach Classes VI to VIII should qualify/pass the Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for this purpose.

Graduate in/with Music from a recognised University or Higher Sec./ Senior Secondary with anyone of the following:

1. Sangeet Visharad Examination of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Bombay.

2. Sangeet Vid.Examination of the Indira Kala Sangeet Viswavidyalaya, Khairgarh(M.P)

3. Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music) Allahabad.

4. Sangeet Visharad Examination of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow(Previously Marris College of Hindustani Music, Lucknow)

*5. Final Examination of the Madhava Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Lashkar, Gwalior.

*6. Highest Examination of Baroda School of Music

*7. The final Examination of Sanskar Gandharva Vidyalaya, Gwalior.

*8. Sangeet Ratna Diploma awarded by the Director, Department of Education, Madhya Pradesh.

*The new Diploma /Degrees awarded by the concerned agencies I institutions in lieu of 5 to 8 above.

9. Sangeet Bhaskar of Prachin Kala Kendra with Graduation in any discipline of Prachin Kala Kendra.

10. Sangeet/ Nritya Bhushan / with Graduation in any Discipline

Diploma/ Degree Course in Teacher Education : A diploma /degree course in teacher education recognised by NCTE only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education) , a course recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

Guidelines and procedure for filling the Online Registration Form

Apply online through the website - www.dpsmathuraroad.net under VACANCY. Before filling the form please refer to the detailed instructions / eligibility carefully.

1. Fill your basic particulars online and download the form.

2. Take a printout of the downloaded form and dispatch the duly filled form complete in all respects with attested documents and DD/PO of Rs. 200/- in favour of Principal, Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, payable at New Delhi, by Speed Post or Courier to "Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi - 110003". Mention name of the applicant on reverse of DD/PO. Please superscribe on the envelope the “Post Applied For”.

3. A list of short listed candidates for all posts will be displayed on the school website on the dates specified below. You will be required to bring a print out of the filled form along with copies of documents on the day of final interview.

4. Please keep a copy / printout of the filled form for your record.
