The Genius of India: DPS
For any school to reach its sixtieth year is an indication of the worth of its educational philosophy, its vision and its mission.

To celebrate its Diamond Jubilee, Delhi Public School Mathura Road presents a grand production involving 1000 students, from the Junior and Senior wings of the School .With the use of dance, drama, narration and action, the drama explores themes based on the values prevalent in the school. Starting from the ’guru shishya parampara‘, we explore aspects of bravery and valour, character building, honesty and our inspiring struggle for freedom.

It was in post independent India that the founders of DPS created a new school. Our script juxtaposes DPS decades with the onrush of Indian history. From Mother Teresa whose life embodied our ‘Service Before Self‘ motto, to the Chipko movement that exemplifies our keen commitment to the cause of the environment. The achievements of the last ten years; the Ibtida Shiksha Kendra, the participation in Model United Nations, all culminate in a lively sixty years carnival like celebration.
